Meals in the Low IG diet are based on products with low and average glycemic indices, prepared and balanced so that their cumulative glycemic load is low.

When preparing Low GI meals we use carbohydrates which have low or average GI and natural sweeteners as well as sugar substitutes.

The balanced Low GI diet will provide you with all essential nutrients. When preparing meals we use natural sweeteners with low GI (agave syrup) or sugar substitutes (erythritol, xylitol). This allows us to lower the content of simple carbohydrates and ensure that products used in meals have a low or average glycemic index. So don’t worry, you don’t have to give up our fit desserts! The secret lies also in the way meals are cooked and in combining ingredients in such a way as to ensure a glycemic load which will allow you to control your blood sugar.

Our low glycemic diet is high in fibre and is correctly balanced for carbohydrates, protein and fats and has low levels of saturated fat and high levels of polyunsaturated fats including omega-6 i omega-3.

We have calculated calories and 80 macro- and micronutrients and made sure the calorie value is correctly distributed across meals in the day.

What does the Low GI menu consist of?

In Low GI meals you’ll find all types of meat and fish, wholegrains with low and average GI, lots of vegetables, selected fruit, dairy products and eggs as well as nuts and seeds. When developing the Low GI diet we took into account not only the glycemic index of various products but also how they interact with each other and the way they are prepared and how that influences the glycemic load of the whole meal.

Do you suffer from allergies?

Low GI meals are prepared using a wide range of foods, including natural products and their derivatives which may cause allergies or reactions. These include: cereals containing gluten, eggs, fish, shrimps, nuts, peanuts, soy, milk, celery, mustard seeds, sesame seeds and lupin (the order is given according to regulations, not quantity or frequency). The above allergens can also be present in trace amounts even if they are not mentioned on the list of ingredients, because they are used in our facility. Therefore, if you are allergic to any of the above ingredients, this diet may not be suitable for you.
