LightBox Optimum diet

Lose weight by eating 5 tasty and nutritious meals a day, all calorie-counted and portion-controlled for you. LightBox Slim Optimum is the healthy way to drop unnecessary pounds and develop the right eating habits, keeping the weight off once you’ve lost it.

The LightBox Slim Optimum diet is modelled on the Mediterranean diet, whose health benefits have been proven in many different studies. It also meets the recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), with the menu including a wide range of products from the Healthy Eating Pyramid developed by researchers from the Food and Nutrition Institute. Combined with exercise, it is an effective and healthy way to lose weight.

The Mediterranean diet protects the heart and is a model anti-arteriosclerosis diet, reducing the risk of ischemic heart disease and regulating heart arrhythmia. It also lowers blood pressure, improves your lipid profile and glycemic control as it uses products with a low glycemic index, reducing resistance to insulin in pre-diabetic conditions. The Mediterranean diet is recommended by doctors to patients with type 2 diabetes, frequently related to excess weight.

The LightBox Slim Optimum diet is low in cholesterol, sodium and simple sugars, high in fibre, with the right proportions of energy from proteins, carbohydrates and fats. It is also low in saturated fatty acids and high in polyunsaturated ones, including omega-6 and omega-3. At the same time, our dietitians ensured that your daily energy intake is properly distributed among meals during the day.

Taking into account the need to supply your body with the required amount of energy and nutrients, please bear in mind that a 1000 kcal diet may only be followed for a limited time, e.g. to kick-start your weight-loss plan. Longer term, we recommend a 1200 or 1500 kcal weight-loss plan. Please refer to the calculators in the GUIDE section of our website or call us at: +48 513 513 661 for a free-of-charge advice from our English-speaking dietitian.

Due to this, it may be impossible for persons allergic to any of the above ingredients to use the diet.
